Peddie School discovered suspicious activity on its computer network on October 30, 2023 and determined by December 22, 2023 that an unknown actor had accessed and copied certain files containing personal information. A comprehensive review completed on December 24, 2024 confirmed that individuals’ names and other data were involved. Peddie reported the incident to the FBI, notified affected individuals, implemented additional security measures, and is offering complimentary Experian IdentityWorks credit monitoring. The cyberattack was claimed by Clop on 2024-02-26.
