On October 26, 2024, Gemini Industries, Inc. detected suspicious activity in its network and determined that unauthorized actors had accessed its systems between October 15 and November 14, 2024, extracting certain files. A forensic investigation and comprehensive file review confirmed that personal information of some individuals, including the recipient, was contained in the affected files. Gemini has secured its network, implemented additional security measures, and is offering free credit monitoring and identity theft protection services through Experian to those impacted. The cyberattack was claimed by ransomhub on 2024-11-07.
