In October 2024, Trinity Petroleum Management, LLC detected unauthorized access to its systems that occurred between October 10 and October 14, and on December 18, 2024 determined that names and Social Security numbers may have been exfiltrated. The company retained legal counsel, engaged external forensic specialists, notified law enforcement, and implemented additional security safeguards. Affected individuals are being offered 12 months of complimentary single-bureau credit monitoring and proactive fraud assistance. The cyberattack was claimed by bianlian on 2024-11-22.
